Bio

I was born in Blythe, California in December of 1964. My father was a San Bernardino Sheriffs' Deputy and my mother a postmaster. My early childhood years were in the small village of Parker Dam, Ca.. I have many vivid memories of fishing, swimming and ice cream socials. In 1977 my family moved to Parker and I have lived here ever since. From 1983 to 1993 I served in the U.S. Air Force. Traveling to many places around the world and serving in more than one conflict. My wife Sassy and I were married September 2nd 1988 and have a wonderful marriage of nearly 20 years. After returning to Parker I ran my own business until I was hired as the General Manager of the Joint Venture Sewage System in 1998. I have 4 children ranging from 25 to 15 years of age. My oldest son is currently in the U.S. Air Force serving time in the U.S., Europe and Iraq. My two youngest children currently attend Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and Parker High School. My wife and I are active in many community activities, 4-H, FFA, Teen Council and Soccer to name a few. I also coached Little League teams for 13 years. I am a  member of the Board of Directors for the Colorado River Regional Sewer Coalition, a position I have held for over 11 years. Most of my life’s work has been in government and I believe I know it quite well.
